Take the first step into your ideal timeline
If you can practice picturing and embodying what you want and who you want to be, you can make it happen.
You know, I’ve been doing a lot of scrolling lately and I keep coming across a theme:
That 2024 SUCKED.
For so many people.
It just bit the big one.
And me, like so many others, found myself reflecting on the suckery of the past year. Give me my money/sanity back, 2024 ><.
But then I remembered something:
When we worry endlessly about the WORST things that COULD happen — we’re actually PRAYING for what we DON’T want.
You know…some physicists believe that there may be infinite universes and timelines out there.
It would stand to reason to me that if you can align with the universe where you get what you want, then you can bring that existence into being.
And if that’s too woo-woo of an idea for you, all this is just a way of restating an essential neurological truth: if you can practice picturing and embodying what you want and who you want to be, you can make it happen.
So this has all boiled down to a brand new practice for me.
When I’ve struggled to get up in the morning, I started to imagine the that first step I take - the first contact my foot makes to the floor - that’s me, stepping into a universe where I’ve gotten things managed the way I want to manage them. A universe where people are fundamentally safe, housed and fed. A universe where we embody love to each other. And I don’t know exactly how it will all happen, but I don’t need to, because I’ve taken the first step and I’m already aligning with a new future.
It was the first thing I’ve tried that actually made me want to get up in the morning. It made it worth it.
Not only that, but I feel that it made it worth saddling up to another trip around the sun.
So I want to dedicate my next year to imagining all of the beauty, love and good that we will bring into life in the future.
To imagining all the success stories I’m going to hear from all of you as you flourish.
To all the changes of heart and minds to come together for common goals.
If we can envision it, we can find a way to make it happen.
Nothing is hopeless…and I am not going anywhere.
XOXO,
Cathy
