Today, I wrote this long, thoughtful review about the Apple Vision Pro headset that I was going to share.
And as I was finishing it, I thought...I don't really want to share this with you today. I might share it somewhere else, but not here. TL;DR: I think the headset very impressive in some ways, but in other ways I don't believe there is a consistent use case to justify the expense of purchasing it yet.
Instead of all that...I have some very simple inspiration to share with you.
It's something one of my mentors wrote in response to a question that a student asked her. It really stuck with me...because it's so easy to forget why you create and what or who you're doing it for in the midst of pressure to get something out. I often re-read it when I am about to write to you.
It's two simple questions:
"If I were led back to myself, what would I post or create?"
and
"If I were led back to myself, what would I STOP posting and STOP creating?"
Ask yourself these two questions for your next creative venture and see what it brings up for you.
All right, that's it. Happy weekend.
Before I go, I also want to congratulate one of the people on this list who got a promotion this week! You know who you are...and it's VERY well deserved 😊.
Bye for now,
Cathy
